While on (yet another – I think I may have a problem) browse in Oxfam this past weekend, I found a real gem. The Oxford Dictionary of Modern Quotations

There are two things I already love about it.

1. The message written on the front page –

To Charlie, Christmas 1997. Love Sarah.

2. The message further down the page –

To Sarah, August 29 2011. Love Charlie.

Charlie and Sarah, I don’t know who you are or why your book ended up in Oxfam, but I wish I could ask you both the story.
